Aspheric Lenses

Aspheric lenses are used to eliminate the spherical aberration in applications. They maintain constant focal length or very high NA, avoiding the need for multiple elements to correct spherical aberration.  Aspherical lenses are effective in the elimination of not only spherical aberration, but also other forms of aberration generated by lenses.
