Plate Beamsplitter is coated on one side with a dielectric, non-polarizing, partial reflection coating, and on the reverse side with a high efficiency,anti-reflection coating. It is used at a 45-degree incident angle. It divides an incident beam into reflected and transmitted components with the specified intensity ratio. They are designed for applications in which it is necessary to maintain the polarization characteristics of the incident beam.
