High Precision Optical Glass Right Angle Prisms
Right Angle Prisms are generally used to deviate or deflect a beam of light with 90°or 180°. are precision polished to light tolerances for more demanding applications. As long as acceptance angle limitations for TIR from the roof faces are not exceeded, the right angle prisms can serve as a retro reflector, turning beams back to the original direction.
Right Angle Prisms are available in either BK7 or UV Fused Silica. BK7 prisms are recommended for general laboratory use in the visible and near IR. For UV, infrared, or thermally sensitive applications Fused Silica prisms are advised.
